Azalea came to LHS when she and several other dogs were seized by animal control to be held for a court case. The court case is completed and Azalea is available for adoption to a loving new home. Azalea is a lovely blue/white pit bull mix. She is about 1 1/2 years old and has just been spayed so she is ready to go home immediately. She is a very sweet girl who loves attention and treats. She is trying to keep a clean kennel and does ok on a leash. Her previous owner reported that she loves toys and will sometimes play fetch. She's been very nervous and stressed here but when she gets outside in the play yard she opens up and enjoys her time with whoever is with her. Once Azalea settles into her new home she should be more relaxed and at ease. She loves having a back scratch and will stand with her front paws on your lap to get closer to you.
