Under the direction of the Magnet Program Director, facilitates a plan for the ANCC Magnet Recognition designation and processes across all nursing practice environments. Responsible for ongoing communication of the link between the value of nursing's performance and nursing excellence with mission, vision, values.Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in support of nursing excellence intitiatives. ensure that goals, objectives and budgets are achieved through effective communication, organization, and prioritization. Minimum Qualifications Required Education: BS required. BSN preferred. Masters in Nursing or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years project management or related experience required. Nursing experience preferred. Licensure, certification, and/or registration: RN License preferred. Other Minimum Qualifications: Advanced planning and organizational skills to manage multiple and potentially large, complex departments and to direct the successful completion of initiatives and achievement of fiscal goals. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication abilities to support and promote a respectful, inclusive culture of service excellence. Proven skills in written and verbal communication, clinical, operational and human resource management, including staffing, planning, performance management, team work and process improvement. Statistical analysis and fiscal management skills with p roficiency in word processing, spreadsheet computer software and data analysis.
