Very Personal Stylist Supervisor
Overview
This associate will supervise the Personal Stylist team. The Supervisor will coach the team to deliver world class service through styling and by building and maintaining relationships with our top clients through both written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
Develop/support team leaders and associates on the Personal Stylist team
Train associates to develop and strengthen client relationships with our top customers
Train associates to create personal and professional emails
Maintain brand goals & objectives
Identify and implement process improvements where needed
Lead and participate in Brand Recognition programs (i.e., contests and incentives)
Handle customer escalations as needed
Provide leadership and support for escalated situations
Identifies talent from within
Monitors Occupancy & Service Levels For Team
Deliver monthly, mid-year and year-end performance evaluations
Communicate with team in a manner that ensures excellent customer service
Development Planning
Perform quality monitoring audits
Interview and hire for open positions
Ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures
Support Sales floor as needed
Miscellaneous duties as business needs dictate
Qualifications
Our Supervisory position seeks an enthusiastic, high energy, easy to talk to, confident, does what it takes, & desire to succeed personality
Has a passion and love for fashion and clothing
Must have a clear understanding of the overall J.Crew brand and style
Previous experience in a leadership role required
Previous retail experience preferred
Ability to handle difficult and complex issues
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office and Internet applications
Analytical skills
College degree preferred
Offers a flexible schedule as needed
