Job Description At Perry Pools & Spas, we pride ourselves at being "your partners in fun", and our Sales Associates are vital to delivering customer service that offers a distinctive shopping experience and drives sales results. As a Sales Associate you will be part of a team that strives to meet department and store objectives, however your individual responsibilities as a Sales Associate will include demonstrating outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping educated and trained on the products/service we offer, and developing lasting relationship with our clientele. Our Sales Associates are generously compensated with a hourly salary and paid commissions on all of their sales. This is a full time, year round position that offers full company benefits. Essential Functions:Meeting and making a connection with customers, asking questions and listening to shoppers' needs, then giving options and advice on meeting those needsInspiring the customer to buy, celebrating the purchase, and creating a lasting positive impression of you, Perry Pools, and the purchaseMaintaining selling floor presentations, and restocking them as neededLearning Perry Pools' systems and procedures to enhance selling efficiencies and complete support dutiesHandle all returns courteously and professionallyResponsible for achieving personal sales goalsMaintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting Perry Pools' commitment to our customer - the most important person in our storeBe knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS proceduresDevelop product knowledge by reading current vendor tags and pamphlets and attending training classes in order to communicate it to the customerBe aware of current promotional events and salesMaintain good housekeeping standardsAdhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control and compliance proceduresPerform other duties as assignedRegular, dependable attendance and punctuality
